Topic: Agro-ecological strategies for a sustainable and just transformation of agri-food systems in the global South

TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences
Topic: Transforming agricultural and food systems for food security and conservation of biodiversity

Leipzig University, SEPT Competence Center
Topic: Alumni 4 Regional Development through Agroecology (Alumni4RD)

Eligible participants:

Alumni of German universities / research Institutions (so called Germany Alumni)

who spent at least 3 months in Germany on professional errands (study, training, teaching, research) or

who were funded within the framework of the DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Program, the Centres of African Excellence, the SDG Graduate Schools or the Excellence Centres for Exchange and Development – exceed.

Itinerary of this SDG Alumni Project:
PHASE 1: 1 - 8 September 2025 – Training Seminars at the universities, Germany
PHASE 2: 8 – 13 September 2025 – Participation in the conference Tropentag 2025, Bonn, Germany
